Twenty- four life insurance agents led by Great Eastern Life Field Force and Agents Association of Malaysia (Gelfaam) Miri chairlady Tan Ah Choo (in a picket in front of the Great Eastern Life Assurance (Malaysia) Berhad Miri branch office recently. The aim of the picketing is to request Great Eastern to remove the CEO for allegedly not settling the long outstanding contractual issues of agents. It was estimated that one third of Gelfaam members in Miri participated in the nationwide protest which was held together with Group Sales Managers Association.
