Two women drivers on the opposing sides of a narrow back lane here refused to back down, resulting in a stand-off that lasted two hours. The showdown between the women drivers occurred at about 11am on Thursday. The back lane off Jalan Dato Abdul Rahman at the town centre (Seremban) has parking lots on one side, making passage there more acute. Motorists have been making do by reversing to make way.
Things got explosive as one of the women flashed obscene signs and revealed her bra in the heat of the moment. A video of the incident showed the woman also not being bothered as she listened to music on earphones.
In the video, a male passenger is seen getting out and walking to the other car, whose driver seemed to be immersed in the music. “Reverse lah. Reverse lah!” said the man, who is believed to be the husband of the other driver. “All he got was the middle finger from the driver, who had earlier shown off her bra.”
Tension eased when police arrived and ordered both women to reverse.
One of the drivers told Sin Chew Daily that she showed her bra because she had a sore throat and could not shout loud enough. “I really didn’t expect it to blow up like this. People are calling me heartless and other names.”
