So apparently, one can migrate even in the afterlife.
So says Islamic medical practitioner, Mohd Zamri Bashir in an article carried by the New Straits Times in which he explains that “transiting” spirits are likely to blame for the recent spate of hauntings in Kampung Lapan, Malacca.
Mohd Zamri, who claimed the recent paranormal disturbances were genuine, however urged villagers not to be perturbed by the incidents.These creatures are like humans. They are migrating from one place to another,” he explained, adding that the spirits were possibly heading to their final destination, and the village was merely a “transit point” for them.
“In such instances, the apparitional disturbances are only temporary and will end when the creatures head for their next destination,” he was reported to have said.
Mohd Zamri also said another reason for the increased paranormal activity there could be due to certain quarters “dumping ghosts” in the village for various reasons.
He added that these “ghosts”, known as “jinns” and demons could take human and animal forms as well.
