A parking attendant here was apparently badly beaten up by an irate driver, just for doing his job.
The parking attendant was doing his rounds at the Hospital Kuala Lumpur multi-level parking lot when he noticed a hatchback doubled-parked and blocking other cars. Acting upon the instructions of the parking lot's management, the attendant clamped the car's tyres at around 7pm.
When the car owner learned about this about an hour later, he became enraged and called about 10 of his friends to beat up the parking attendant. The parking attendant suffered injuries on his head, face, legs and feet.
