More Worms From Allianz Indonesia

Image result for can of wormsIndonesia Consumers Association or YLKI said that the case related to PT Asuransi Allianz Life Indonesia must be settled explicitly through the court later.
Chief Executive of YLKI Tulus Abadi explained that the company of that scale should have good document handling. Moreover, the case has lasted for two years. "It is necessary to dismantle the case because in the consumer protection law, when the consumer's right is violated, he can sue in civil, criminal and arbitration cases," Tulus said in a discussion in Jakarta on Saturday (9/30/2017).
As reported earlier two high-ranking officials at Allianz were named suspects for refusing claims from the owner of Allianz insurance policy named Ifranius Algadri who was totally unable to make a claim and obtain his right from Allianz, when he was ill.
The rejection resulted in violations of civil and criminal law and dragged two Allianz officials namely Dr. Yuliana as Director of Head of Claim and Joachim Wesling as President Director of PT Allianz Life Indonesia.
Tulus claimed he has got some cases that led to criminal case. According to him, people should be empowered and educated about Consumer Protection Law so as not to be harmed. "Because by empowering consumers with Consumer Protection Law, they will understand, and no more such cases, producers should be responsible to consumers for replacement," he said.
This insurance claim case which ended to become criminal case was originated from a customer report who felt severely disadvantaged by Allianz when disbursing the hospital's cost of hospitalization. Allianz always requested complete medical records from the hospital as a condition of disbursement. The hospital on the other hand will never provide complete medical records for violating the Minister of Health Decision No. 269/Menkes/PER/III/2008 on Medical Record.
The customer feels cheated by the insurance until finally culminated to the police. As a result the police ensnared Allianz's bosses with the Consumer Protection Law.
