Despite having a four-storey parking complex in SS15, illegal and double-parking is still prevalent in the area. The RM12 million parking complex which opened to the public last year (next to the MPSJ multi-purpose hall and the SS15 market) has 647 parking bays, including seven parking spots for the disabled. In front of banks, people would still double-park even though an MSPJ enforcement booth is there. Parker are not worried because the summons given is not linked to the Road Transport Department (JPJ).
Parking charges at the complex are RM1 per hour on weekdays from 7am to 7pm, (up to a maximum charge of RM8 a day), and after 7pm, a flat rate of RM2 per entry applies. The weekend rate is a flat rate of RM2 per entry. Student monthly access card is priced at RM127 per month and RM159 per month for a monthly pass for other users.
