After garnering the Best Life Insurance Company - Malaysia award in 2017, Hong Leong Assurance (HLA) continued its winning streak in the international insurance arena by bagging the coveted title for the second consecutive time at the International Finance Insurance Awards 2018.
The International Finance Insurance Awards identifies the best talents, leadership skills and product offerings of an insurer, and recognises the achievements of the people behind the organisation, who strive to safeguard the best interest of customers.
HLA group managing director and chief executive officer Loh Guat Lan said, “It’s a great honour for HLA to be recognised as the Best Life Insurance Company in Malaysia for the second time in a row.

Over the years, HLA has received numerous accolades, namely the Domestic Life Insurer of the Year - Malaysia by Asian Banking and Finance Insurance Asia in 2016, 2017 and 2018; Best Life Insurance Company – Malaysia by the World Finance Global Insurance Awards 2017; and The Most Valuable Brand Award by The BrandLaureate BestBrands Awards 2016-2017.
