Tony Fried Convicted Adulterer

Bung said he had nothing personal against Fernandes and was just bringing up the concerns raised by the public regarding his budget airline, AirAsia.
“That was why I said he should not be too emotional. I was speaking through experience and the complaints I heard from the people. AirAsia should act as a low-cost airline but it is not,” Bung told The Malaysian Insight.
On Tuesday, Deputy Transport Minister Abdul Aziz Kaprawi said Putrajaya will not hesitate to act against AirAsia if it were true that the low-cost airline ignores users’ welfare.
He said the issue had been discussed with the Malaysian Aviation Commission (Mavcom) and it is in line with the Malaysian Aviation Commission (Amendment) Act 2015 (Act 771), which is to protect users’ interest.

He was responding to Bung who had urged the government to stricter in viewing low-cost airlines’ policies.
Bung said AirAsia is inconsiderate for making passengers purchase a new flight ticket even for being 10 minutes late, which is different from the policies of an international low-cost airline that would help their customers get a seat without extra charges. Bung also said AirAsia tickets are expensive as it could go up to RM2,000 which is not in line with its policy as a low-cost airline.
Fernandes took to Twitter to air his dissatisfaction over the complaints. “Some MPs complain about AirAsia for 16 years. Yet before AirAsia there was so little connectivity between east and west malaysia. Not even a KL-Sandakan flight.
“Why don’t these same MPs complain about the 100 percent increases Malaysian airports charge poor first time travellers,” tweeted Fernandes.
Bung, however, said his comment were not to deny what AirAsia had done for the country. “I respect him (Fernandes), but he should also provide CSR service (corporate social responsibility) to rural folk,” said the MP, adding that this should not be a problem for the AirAsia supremo since he had made a lot of money through the budget airlines.
