Prudential Assurance Malaysia Bhd (PAMB) and Prudential BSN Takaful Bhd (PruBSN) have announced their partnership with Doctor2U, a homegrown technology arm that provides health screening services to would-be policyholders.
The two companies were delighted to join hands with BP Healthcare Group’s new mobile app, Doctor2U, as an add-on value for the convenience of policyholders and certificate holders.
PAMB chief operations officer Wong Eng Teng said, “This partnership is very exciting for all of us as we are making health screening services available to our customers even in the comfort of their homes.”
Those who have subscribed to the specified package can opt to have a fully qualified doctor provided by Doctor2U to perform the necessary health screening tests at their preferred location.
Wong added that the arrangement would provide convenience to their would-be policyholders as they no longer need to go through the hassle of the possible long wait at clinics or hospitals.
“We are offering a special promotion exclusively for PAMB and PruBSN customers, agents and their family members for the doctor house-call service until the end of this year,” said PruBSN chief operations officer Ahmir Ud Deen.
The special promotion is until Dec 31.
Celebrating the partnership, Doctor2U chief executive officer and founder Garvy Beh said, “We have a network of over 1,000 doctors and media professionals in place nationwide which is aimed at providing convenient and quality healthcare experiences to customers.
Garvy added, “The mobile app hopefully will bring convenience to our elderly customers or others who may be immobile and in need of assistance.”
